We are looking for a patient, warm, and experienced nanny to care for our 3‑year‑old daughter as well as her 9 month old sister. Annabelle is bright, curious, and loving, and she thrives with structure and gentle guidance. She experiences difficulty with transitions and benefits from predictable routines, visual cues, and calm, supportive redirection.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
What We’re Looking For:
Someone with experience supporting neurodivergent children (autism, ADHD, sensory needs, or similar).
Strong understanding of behavior modification, positive reinforcement, and emotion‑regulation strategies.
Ability to create a consistent daily rhythm with smooth transitions between activities.
A nurturing presence who can model patience, emotional safety, and clear boundaries.
Someone comfortable collaborating with parents on strategies and maintaining consistency.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, developmentally supportive care throughout the day.
Use positive behavior‑support techniques to help with transitions, frustration tolerance, and emotional regulation.
Plan simple, engaging activities that support learning and sensory needs.
Prepare meals/snacks and maintain a tidy play environment.
Communicate daily about routines, behaviors, and progress.
Ideal Candidate:
You are calm, grounded, and intuitive with children. You understand that big feelings in little bodies require compassion and structure. You enjoy helping children build confidence, independence, and emotional skills.
