We are looking for a caring, dependable, and trustworthy nanny to help care for our two children, ages 3 and 5.
We need childcare approximately 3 times a week and are open to discussing either part-time or full-time arrangements depending on availability. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and can provide a safe, caring, and positive environment.
The ideal nanny would be patient, responsible, attentive, and comfortable keeping young children engaged throughout the day. We value someone who communicates well, is reliable, and treats our children with kindness and respect.
We’re hoping to find someone who can become a trusted and consistent part of our family’s routine.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Rollins Family with 1 Child
I work shift work therefore my shifts are going to be on various days and at various times. luckily my husband works a more normal job, so we will just need someone to watch Max on the hours we are both gone. Could have half days some days, and full days at other times. Will only be Mondays-Fridays, and maybe weekends if we need a date night. We also have a 15 month old golden retriever, yukon, so hopefully you are comfortable with dogs!

About us:
- We are a family of 3 plus a small dog located in Avondale
- We have grandparents nearby, giving us lots of flexibility for scheduling through the end of the year. Our primary goal right now is building a long-term relationship with a great nanny
- Mom is transitioning careers next year, at which point we will be looking to increase hours but will also require a high degree of flexibility due to her schedule
The schedule:
- Currently seeking 1-2 days a week (~6 hr shifts) + occasional extras (availability for periodic date nights or weekend outings.
- Early 2027: Looking to shift to 3-4 days a week of daytime hours
About our daughter:
- 16 months old and fully embracing the toddler phase!
- Highly active; she loves being outside, animals, reading, coloring, and swimming
Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Plan activities, read together, take her to nearby parks/library
- Food prep: prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for a toddler
- Occasional transportation to/from Grandma's house in Orange Park
- Pet friendly: comfortable having a small dog around the house
- Long term fit: able to grow with our family over time
Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- Non-smoker
- Reliable personal transportation
- Background in childcare with references
- Able to pass a background check
Prefer:
- 5+ years of childcare experience with ages 0-5
- Toddler development experience: prior experience navigating the 1–2-year age range (milestones, emotional regulation, potty training)
- Water friendly: We’d love someone who is comfortable in the water and able to bring our daughter in and around our pool
- Comfortable preparing clean, minimally processed meals/snacks
- Energetic & Outdoorsy: someone who genuinely enjoys being active and outside
- Background in early childhood education
Would love:
- Someone who speaks a second language fluently and can introduce it to our daughter

Travel RT in Tampa. Typically 3 consecutive days in Tampa, then return home.
