Babysitter Job: The C Family with 1 Child

A little bit about us

Our baby girl was born June 8. We do not have grandparents in town, and we are looking for someone loving and dependable to help our family on a consistent basis. I am a former teacher and have also worked as a nanny, so I would especially love to work with someone who is pursuing a career in working with children or families.

We need someone to look after our baby girl during the day on weekdays for about 20 hours a week. Help with dishes, baby's laundry, and other light housework would be great. We would also appreciate it if you could run the occasional errand, like making returns at the UPS Store.

We would also like a regular babysitter for Tuesday evenings, beginning around 5pm and ending no later than 10pm. We would like a babysitter for some Thursday evenings, beginning at 4:30pm and usually ending by 9:30pm. We’d also love an occasional weekend evening of babysitting, beginning around 5pm and ending no later than 11pm.

We are usually very flexible and can work around your schedule. We will pay $18/hour as a starting salary, but considering education, experience, and quality of care, we would love to pay more to someone who is a great fit for our family.

Current infant CPR certification is required. Experience with newborns and/or infants would be great! The main thing is that you are patient, kind, and love children.

We have three cats, so our nanny would need to be comfortable with cats.
