Babysitter Job: The Tomlinson Family with 1 Child
Hi! We are looking for a caring nanny for our almost 10-month-old baby girl.
We're hoping to find someone who is patient, kind, nurturing, proactive, creative, and optimistic—someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with babies and will treat our daughter with love and care. We would love a caregiver who actively engages with her through play, talking, singing, reading books, and helping her safely explore the world around her.
A little about our family: we encourage our daughter to explore and learn through experience while keeping her safe. We try to communicate using calm, positive, and encouraging language, and we're looking for someone who shares a similar approach.
Our daughter is happy, curious, and active. She loves exploring her surroundings, interacting with people, listening to music, watching people dance, and engaging in play.
Responsibilities include:
• Feeding and preparing bottles/formula as needed
• Rinsing bottles, tidying feeding items, and giving the formula maker a quick clean after use
• Diaper changes
• Putting her down for naps
• Reading books, playing, singing, and engaging with her throughout the day
• Taking her on walks or strolls
We're planning to start with about 4–6 hours once per week and may increase hours if it's a great fit. We're flexible with scheduling as long as there is good communication and advance notice.
Compensation is expected to be around $10–$25 per hour depending on experience and qualifications, with room for adjustment for the right person.
Reliability, communication, patience, and active engagement are very important to us. We'd love to build a long-term relationship with the right nanny.
For our daughter's safety, we are looking for someone who is up to date on recommended vaccinations. Infant CPR and choking response certification is highly preferred.
Korean-speaking is a bonus, but not required.
If this sounds like a good fit, we'd love to hear from you!
