A little bit about us

Hello! We’re a welcoming family of five seeking a nurturing, dependable nanny for our active 4- and 2-year-old boys. Mom is home and cares for our newborn. This position is for our two boys.

After a wonderful year with our family, our previous nanny accepted a full-time teaching position, which is why we’re now looking for someone new.

Schedule: Our preferred schedule is Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from [phone number hidden] p.m., with 15 guaranteed paid hours per week. We have some flexibility for the right person, so please reach out if your availability is close but not an exact match. Optional extra hours may be offered in advance based on dad's variable work schedule. No nights or overnights required.

Responsibilities include:

* Indoor/outdoor play, strolls to nearby parks, reading, imaginative play, and other screen-free activities
* Allergy-safe meals/snacks and simple food prep
* Children’s laundry
* Loading/unloading the dishwasher, washing bottles, and kitchen tidying
* Organizing toys and children’s spaces

Our oldest has allergies to milk, egg, and tree nuts. We keep milk and tree nuts out of our home, provide the children’s food, and need someone who will carefully follow our allergy plan.

Our ideal candidate has experience with toddlers and preschoolers; is warm, patient, reliable, and communicative; can work independently and is comfortable working in a home where a parent is present; is CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified; and can provide strong references and complete a background check.

Pay is $23+ per hour depending on experience.
