A little bit about us

We are looking for 3 days a week during the weekdays (watching 1 kid and doing mother’s help clean up during nap time) as well as 2 Saturdays a month.
The weekdays would be with our son who is 16 months. He's such a fun little guy. Very cute and so curious,. I love having him with me all of the time but at this age his curiosity and sense of adventure makes it difficult to take him everywhere I need to go. Flexible on which days if there is a schedule we need to work around, otherwise, M/W/F works well for us. Hours would be 9:45 to 2:15 or 2:45 (depending on the day). On these days I will either be out of the house running errands or taking other kids to appointments - or staying home cleaning, laundry, prepping meals etc. Eventually, after some comfort is established, I’d love it if our nanny could take our 1 year old out once or twice a week to the park, library, gym time etc. so that I would be able to get things done here at home and so that he would have the opportunity to get out and have fun. He usually takes a nap around 10:30 (I’m not terribly strict on this though. So if we’re out having fun, he’ll go down later no problem.) and at that time I’d like for any cleanup / organizing around the house to be done.
For the Saturdays we’re looking for 9am to 3pm. On Saturdays the plan would vary. My husband and I have 4 kids. Ages 7, 5, 3 and 1. Two girls, two boys. On Saturdays we would either go out just the 2 of us or have the opportunity to take just one or two kids out. Occasionally we might all stay home and our nanny would help us with the kids and and just maintaining the home.  We live in Prosper. The pay would be dependent on experience. We limit screen time, which can be a battle, and will expect that our nanny is also limiting his or her screen time while in the home. One key principle in our home is food is never a reward/punishment (ie dessert for behavior, take away snack for behavior). Our oldest son has a complex relationship with food and we need our nanny to support the healthy habits we are establishing as a family.

Responsibilities include school bus pickup, driving to extra cirrcicular practices using our vehicle, pool supervision/participation, basic meal prep and cleanup, helping develop and keep structures for boys (chores, homework, reading, laundry for children/towels, snack and dinner serving/cleanup).
