A little bit about us

Our family is looking for a warm, experienced nanny for weekday afternoons, primarily caring for our sweet 1-year-old son. The shift starts with picking up our older two (9-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl) from school, but the baby is the main focus — his routine, bottles, play, and keeping his afternoon on track.

The details:

Monday–Friday, 2:30–7:00pm (22.5 hrs/week guaranteed) — starts with a short walk to school pickup, no driving needed
Room to grow to ~30 hrs/week for the right person — an earlier start on weekdays and/or a standing weekend block. If you're looking for this to be your main job rather than a side gig, let's talk.
$30/hour with guaranteed hours — you're paid for the full schedule even on days we don't need you
Paid PTO and paid holidays
Reliable pay through a payroll service (W-2), written agreement, rate review at 3 months and 1 year
Optional extra hours from time to time (evenings or weekends) — always your choice, never required
Start ASAP
Long-term role — we're hoping to find someone who'll be with our family for the next couple of years

What the job includes: infant care first and foremost, plus after-school support for the older kids (snacks, homework-adjacent supervision, refereeing the occasional Barbie dispute) through dinnertime. Kid-related tasks only — bottles, kids' laundry, tidying play areas, kids' dinner. No housekeeping, no cooking for adults.

What we're looking for:

Infant care experience with references we can call
Availability that genuinely fits 2:30–7 every weekday — if you have another job or classes, please tell us how they fit
Fluent English (bilingual is a plus)
CPR/first aid certified, or willing to certify within the first 90 days (we'll reimburse)
Up to date on vaccines, including Tdap
Non-smoker
Comfortable with cats (we have one)
A driver's license is a plus but not required

One of us works from home some days, but you'll often have the kids solo.
