MUST have experience with special needs children. We have two young boys in our house, both on the spectrum. This posting is for someone to watch our older boy, who is 10-years-old and non-verbal. You'd be preparing lunch and snacks for him, bathing him, helping him go to the bathroom. There is another girl who watches our younger son; she is great, and will be helping you along the way. Special needs experience is a huge plus. Our household is a very relaxing place to work. Not a lot of rules, very laid back. People enjoy working here and stay for years, often traveling with us, too (though that isn't a requirement). Please do not apply if you can't show up every weekend. We are moving to Yorkville (Upper East Side) from abroad and are looking for a nanny whose primary responsibility will be helping with a 11-month old baby boy. The father will be working, the mother will be at home. Furthermore, light household and meal prep will be expected.

We are looking for a replacement nanny / house manager to assist with running our household and caring for our three children (now aged 4, 9 and 11). We are ideally looking for someone who could work 8am to 7pm.
The job responsibilities would be:
-helping transport our 9 and 4 year old to / from school and after school activities; sometimes helping transport our 11 year old (although she does that more on her own)
-assisting with taking care of our cars (getting gas, taking for service, etc.)
-helping coordinate playdates, including on days off from school; taking on special trips, etc.
-overseeing homework, practicing instruments, etc.
-helping with various items for kids including scheduling and taking to dentist, orthodontist and doctor appointments, purchasing / wrapping gifts for birthday parties or holidays, packing for trips and sleepaway camp
-grocery shopping (in coordination with other employees)
-laundry for kids (in coordination with other employees)
-meal prep / cooking for kids (in coordination with other employees)
-light cleaning of kids' rooms (in coordination with other employees)

I'm in tech sales which provides me flexibility to make my own schedule. My husband and I work from home on most days (but do have offices we can utilize if deemed easier once the little one arrives). :)
