Babysitter Job: The Schroeder Family with 2 Children
Hi! We’re looking for a warm, dependable nanny/mother’s helper for our 21-month-old son in our home on Camp Pendleton. We’d like to start with approximately 6–12 hours/week and, for the right fit, there is potential for the position to grow significantly over time, possibly closer to full-time.
Your primary responsibility would be our toddler—playing with him, taking him outside/on walks or to the park, helping with meals/snacks, and following his usual routine. I’ll generally be home caring for our young baby, so you would not be responsible for both children at once as the normal arrangement.
Because we have a very young infant, we’re being especially cautious about illness exposure. We’re specifically looking for someone who is NOT currently working in a daycare/preschool/childcare center or regularly providing childcare for other families.
We live on Camp Pendleton, so someone who already has base access is strongly preferred. We’re hoping to find someone kind, patient, reliable, active with toddlers, and comfortable following our family’s routines while also taking initiative. If it’s a great mutual fit, we’d love for this to become a long-term position with substantially more hours.

Looking for someone to help with our almost nine month old when we transition back to work. This would mean watching him at our home while I work remotely. Our main goal is to keep him engaged and get him outside as often as possible!
Part-Time Nanny Job: The Barr Family with 1 Child
Work from home mom looking for a part-time nanny to watch our son Jack, who will be 4.5 months in May (when this position would officially begin). My husband and I have a peaceful and happy home and would love to build trust and comfortability with whoever "joins" in on our family!
Jack is a very happy baby and has just begun exploring the world around him. He is rarely fussy (only if he is hungry or tired... just like his parents haha). Infant experience and/or bilingual would be a huge plus for the role, but our biggest factor is trust and flexibility.
Given my mornings are busiest working from home and my mom will be supporting part time, we need someone who can solely focus on Jack on weekday mornings (ideally 9am to 1pm). With that said, I will still be around for emergency and support!
Additional responsibilities are limited but during nap time, we would like to hear what you could help with (whether it be mild cleaning or meal prep).

Part-Time Nanny Job: The A Family with 2 Children
We embrace and celebrate all religions, ethnicities, races, and anything else that makes a person unique in our home. We are a pretty relaxed family in general. Both of our kids are immunocompromised, so it's very important to us that whoever is caring for our kids takes germ exposure and illness seriously as well.
Our toddler is very slow to warm to new people, but loves music, crafting, dancing, and playing outside. We would really love somebody who gets her involved in new activities and creates projects to foster learning and creativity.
Some TV is fine, but we'd really love for the kids to spend more time learning, creating, and playing. Our infant needs help with reaching developmental milestones. The kids will need lunch and snacks. We would love if you could help to keep the play area clean and organized. Must be ok with dogs.
