A little bit about us

We have a 9 month old Emerson who is currently going to Daycare in Mt Pleasant but the drive to and from is getting to be too much for our family. We also both work from home and have pretty flexible jobs, so it would be nice to be able to see Emerson in between meetings during the day at home.

We live in a small house on Alberta Ave with 2 large dogs. It may be preferable for us to nanny share with someone with slightly more space and have Emerson stay at their house with the nanny. But we can be flexible for a few days a week at our house if needed.

I start work in the mornings around 7AM, but my husband watches Emerson until around 8:30/9AM. I finish work around 3PM and my husband finishes around 5PM. So ideally our nanny would be needed from around 8:30 - 3:30 PM.

We've never done a nanny / nanny share before, only daycare, so very flexible and ready to learn about the process and how it works! We take a lot of trips as a family, so we may even consider bringing the nanny on vacations with us in the future if that's something they are interested in.

If they have dog sitting experience too that would be a huge bonus! We have families back up in Maine and Connecticut so we will occasionally need to fly home to see family and have to hire a dog sitter when we're gone. If that's something the nanny would also be interested in we could negotiate pay for that on a ad-hoc basis.
