He takes the school bus home each day, so **school pickup is not required**. Responsibilities will include spending time with him after school, helping with homework when needed, preparing simple snacks, light tidying related to him, and driving him to local activities and playdates.
The ideal person is **dependable, positive, patient, and energetic**, but also comfortable providing some structure around homework and his afternoon routine.

We are looking for a caring and attentive nanny to join our family! We have two daughters ages 2.5 and 4 months. We were very lucky to have an amazing nanny that had been with us since the birth of our oldest but we had to part ways when we left the city a few months ago (happy to provide her info as a reference for our family). My maternity leave ends next month and we would like someone to start by end of February. We live in Chappaqua and hours will be M-F 9am-5pm or 6pm depending on the day.
Responsibilities include engaging the kids in age appropriate activities, taking our oldest to school and classes, lunch/bottle prep and tidying up after the girls (cleaning up snacks, putting away toys, etc.). No family housework is necessary. We do have two small dogs so must be comfortable with animals. Driving is a requirement. Pay will be based on experience and candidates' expectations. That said, we will provide paid holidays, sick time, vacation and an annual raise/bonus.
