Babysitter Job: The Bruno Family with 2 Children
A kind, steady presence wanted for two boys in Salinas
We're a two-working-parents household with two sons; a curious younger one who takes a moment to warm up to new people, and an older brother who looks out for him most days, and very much on snack days. Dad works from home, so the everyday rhythm is covered; the wrinkle is that his job sends him out of town on a schedule that refuses to behave itself. That's where you'd come in.
We'd like to start gently. The first goal is simply for our youngest to get to know you, so that by the time you're picking him up from school on a travel week, you're already a familiar face rather than a stranger. If the fit is right for everyone, we'd love to escalate into a more regular part-time rhythm; school pickups for both boys a few days a week.
What the role looks like:
School pickup for both boys
A simple after-school meal (sandwiches, pasta, the usual lifesavers)
Dishes from that meal
Light laundry support; folding and putting away, nothing heroic
What we're hoping to find in you: warmth, reliability, a sense of humor about the small chaos that comes with boys, and the kind of presence that makes a kid feel safe walking to your car after a long school day. Bonus points if you read aloud well; ours is a household that loves a good story.

We’re looking for a caring and experienced caregiver for our 5-month-old baby.
Schedule: Monday–Wednesday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
We’re hoping to find someone who is warm, attentive, and comfortable with infant care (bottles, naps, playtime, and developmental engagement). Infant CPR certification and prior experience with babies preferred.

I need assistance two days a week.One of the days will be a pick up from school with a drop off (Wednesday). The second day will be pick up from school and provide care till the evening time(Thursday).

Come early 2025 when my husband and I return to work (mid-February), we will need a nanny around 12 days per month, for 11 hours each day 6:30am-5:30 p.m. Our baby will be about 4.5 months old. Schedule will generally be Sunday-Wednesday. We're also open to a nanny share, or someone who prefers to watch our child in their own home, assuming they're close enough for us to drop off/pick up.
