Hello! I am looking for a nanny to care for my 2-year-old daughter in Vancouver on Mondays + Tuesdays 6:30 a.m. -5:30 p.m. (20hrs/week). She loves to take walks to the local park/around the neighborhood, make new friends, go to story time, read lots of books, and play in her playroom/backyard. She loves to learn and would love a caregiver who wants to engage, play games, and talk with her. Currently we are working on potty training, ABC's/Spelling basic words, cleaning up after ourselves, and, her favorite, singing songs. We are a Christian family looking for a caring, dependable nanny to become part of our daily life. We have four wonderful children, ages 7, 5, 3, and 2, and we are also expecting our fifth child. Our home is active, loving, and family-oriented.
Our older children enjoy learning, playing outdoors, crafts, and spending time together. We already have support from grandparents and daycare, so you would not typically be responsible for all of the children at once.
Schedule
We are flexible and are open to either part-time or full-time help. Typical workdays would be Monday through Friday, with hours discussed based on what works well for both your schedule and our family's needs.
Responsibilities
Caring for one or two children at a time.
Driving children to and from daycare, preschool, school, or their grandparents' home.
Engaging the children with play, reading, crafts, and age-appropriate activities.
Preparing one meals and snacks for the family
Assisting with light housekeeping related to the children (tidying toys, laundry, loading/unloading the dishwasher, and keeping play areas organized).
Helping maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing home environment.
We're looking for someone who is reliable, kind, enjoys being around children, and communicates well.
