A little bit about us

Hello! We are the Hood family!
Our active family seeks a warm, energetic nanny for our 2-year old. We would provide all of the tools necessary to support care in our home for 2 days a week
Our 2-year-old is very active and enjoys music, puzzles, books, and playing outside; enjoys being challenged with learning new things. We are looking for a caregiver who can support structured and creative play with special focus on critical milestones. Nanny must be comfortable with structured play to include alot of time outside in backyard, structured learning curriculum with objects and reading.
We are also looking for a nanny interested in long-term placement.
Responsibilities
• Provide attentive and compassionate care tailored to the developmental needs
• Engage the child with age-appropriate activities that promote learning, exploration, and socialization
• Ensure the child's safety at all times by maintaining a clean, hazard-free environment
• Follow daily routines including feeding, diapering and potty training, nap times, and playtime schedules
• Communicate effectively with parents about the child's progress, milestones, and any concerns
• Incorporate early childhood education principles to support growth in language, STEM, and emotional regulation
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, meals, naps, and other observations
Requirements
• Parent/grandparent or an experienced nanny with proven experience working with infants and toddlers in daycare/nannying roles
• Knowledge of childhood development stages and age-specific care practices
• Active Certification in first aid and CPR for infants and children
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for young children
• Ability to work independently while following parental guidance and routines
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and caregivers
• Compassionate attitude combined with patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm for early childhood care
