Warm, active nanny needed for our 6-year-old—not general babysitting. We need real experience with neurodivergent, demand-avoidant kids.
She's neurodivergent, mainly showing up as demand avoidance: she thrives on choices, not commands, and gets rigid when boxed in. She's imaginative, a skilled builder, loves art and animals (especially cats), and is always up for a game, trampoline, or monkey bars. She engages with reading/math/writing only if it's playful, never worksheets.
Past after-school programs didn't work—she couldn't decompress until home. We want someone who meets her one-on-one, on her own terms.
Must drive her to activities (gymnastics start-up planned). Patient, playful, low-demand language a must. Background check and references (ideally from neurodivergent families) required. Paid trial offered.

After school pick up and care on Mondays 3 to 530pm or 6pm. Tuesdays 3-530pm or 6pm and possibly a Friday here and there 3pm-530pm. After school hours on the same days during the summer months for camp pickup at 2pm for our 7 y/o boy. Possibly some full days.

Monday-Friday 1:30-3:00pm. My Husband and I work at Daily’s and our schedules slightly overlap during the day. Both kids are well behaved and easy. Our 1 month old is currently on formula and is bottle trained. She will probably sleep most of the time. My older daughter loves games and is very into everything princess. We have a cat, he’s more like a dog and loves attention. Would be easiest to watch at my apartment due to transportation at the moment.
