We're a loving family looking to build a small bench of wonderful backup nannies and babysitters to care for our young child. We have a fantastic full-time nanny, and we're hoping to find a few warm, dependable, and experienced people we can call on when she takes PTO or sick time, and for occasional date nights and outings.
On weekday coverage days, we'd love someone who enjoys getting outside for walks and time in the neighborhood, while also being happy to spend slower days playing and hanging out at home. For evenings, it's usually a relaxed routine of dinner, play, and bedtime. We value open communication and want you to feel comfortable bringing your own experience, ideas, and personality.
Weekday coverage is typically 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with some flexibility, and is usually planned in advance for PTO, with occasional shorter notice for sick days. Prior professional childcare experience, comfort around dogs, and up-to-date vaccinations are important to us.

My husband works from home and travels a decent amount. I occasionally work from home, but also have to go into the office. This position is two days a week, for approximately 10 hours total per week. The specific days of the week are flexible, but ideally, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-2. We would love to use this same individual as an evening and/or weekend babysitter. We're looking for someone to start ASAP.
