Usually taking care of the infant or the preschooler, with the occasional need to care for both. Infant care, including bottle feeding, diapering, naps, and developmental play. Picking up older child at preschool in the afternoon, driving to after-school activities, prep and serve dinner. Some help with children's laundry and tidying appreciated. We’re first time parents to a sweet 5 month old baby girl, looking for a full time nanny (~40hrs/week) starting as early as May 1st, to join our family hopefully for a long time.
We are looking for someone who is loving, kind, reliable and safe, with 5+ years of experience with infants.
Expected Activities:
• Maintain eat/play/sleep schedule as appropriate
• Developmental activities like reading, tummy time, play time, singing, etc.
• Help reach new milestones like sitting, crawling
• Light housekeeping
• Willing to drive baby
• Other baby-related tasks
• Help us stay connected with her while we are out by taking photos/videos etc.
• Preferred if you are able to cook meals and help with other house chores while she is taking her naps, so we can spend our limited time with her after work. We do have cleaners coming in every week so not looking for any major housework.
Required:
• Current CPR/First Aid certified
• Has a car, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record
• Non-smoker
• Must provide at least 3 references
Preferred:
• Fluent or basic English
• Fluent Spanish
• Early childhood development training
