A little bit about us

We are looking for a part time nanny to work approximately 25 hours per week (2PM-7PM, Monday through Friday) to help care for Marshall and Maya, our twin 3 year-olds.

Marshall is sensitive and smart. He plays alone, but also likes to be around other people. He loves to read and make art.

Maya is confident and social and very much a girl. She likes to be physically active but also likes to sit down for storytime and have stories read to her.

Logistics include picking up the twins from PS 1 Manhattan in Chinatown, taking them to after-school activities at the Harlem JCC (or the playground if weather/schedule permits), snack, and then concluding with dinner.

Being able to navigate the subway is a must.

As a parenting style, we try to adhere to Montessori concepts, but we're not very strict about it. We want to give our kids the freedom and safety to play and explore while also trying to instill good habits.

We are looking for a nanny who is punctual, can participate with our kids in activities and make sure they are engaged. Maya and Marshall are fun and easy going and thrive when they’re with someone who truly wants to play with them.

In addition to the hourly rate, we will provide an OMNY card to cover work-related travel on public transit, 2 weeks paid vacation and sick days.
