A little bit about us

$700 to $800 per week depending on experience plus live in expenses (room and board). Paid vacation, holidays, sick days. Gas stipend. Discretionary yearly bonus. Membership to JCC (which includes gym, tennis courts, indoor and out door pool). Nanny provided with private bedroom and a bathroom that is shared with the kids. Salary will be paid weekly through a payroll company who will take out applicable taxes. Sample responsibilities: Prepare breakfast and lunch for the children; Drive the children to school/after school activities; assist children with getting ready for school and bedtime; Daily managing and tidying of the common areas. (Family has a cleaning company); Organize and purchase (at family’s expense) the children’s clothes and needed items; Grocery shopping and other errands for the family; Prepare simple dinners for the family when requested; Assist children with homework, reading and practicing piano (ability to read music is a plus); Assist with daily needs of family



A typical day for you would include helping to get the kids up and ready for school at 6:30 am. We normally drive the kids to school but will on occasion ask you to do so. The kids will be at school from approximately 7:45 am to 3:15 pm. During this time, you will have time for yourself as well as time to address other responsibilities. You will pick the kid up from school and oversee taking the kids to their after school activities, helping them with their homework, reading time, bathing the children, and getting the kids ready for bed. Other responsibilities include laundry, tiding up, preparing meals, arranging and facilitating activities for kids, errands/grocery shopping, organizing the kids clothes, etc. Most evenings we will sit down together as a family for dinner. On school nights, the kids bed time is 8:30 pm. Average hours per week 35 to 45 with a few hours on Sunday night to assist kids in getting ready for the school week.
