Part-time nanny / household helper — Preston Hollow

30 hrs/week, afternoons

We’re looking for a kind, reliable person for our 6-year-old son and some help around the house when he’s occupied.

Schedule

Mon 11–6, Tue 1–6, Wed 11–6, Thu 1–6, Fri 11–5

The role

After-school care: activities, homework, and a quick handoff at the end of the day. Time permitting, you’ll also run short at-home vision exercises and simple learning activities we’ll show you. Midday hours are household help — dishes, plants, laminating, booking his appointments, and working through a list.

This is a structured home with clear preferences. If you like knowing the standard and following through, you’ll do well. If you prefer a very loose environment, it may not be the right fit. Good judgment matters; when you’re unsure, just ask.

Need a native English speaker with experience caring for school-age kids and common sense. Patience for short structured activities is important. Must have a valid driver’s license, a reliable car, and a clean driving record. Background check and CPR required (or willing to get certified).
