A little bit about us

I would like to have a kind person be in our home to assist with household duties while I attend to the newborn. I am wishing to spend time with my toddler and would like my assistant to help with the daily duties that make that precious time difficult. I am hoping to lessen the tension by allowing me to truly attend to both children. There will be days I may wish to go to a pilates class and that would mean I would be out of the home for approximately 2 hours. I would love to have an individual who just wishes to be part of the family while in our home while also respecting our family privacy

My youngest (3 months) Francis currently loves tummy time and being entertained by her very busy older sister Byrdie (2 years) who in turn, absolutely adores her sister. Byrdie has a mild motor disability and speech delay but overall is a very independent little girl who likes to make her opinions known! She needs very little extra support. She loves to play make believe, reading books, and singing songs.

We have three kitties and backyard chickens so a nanny who is pet friendly would be a great fit! Our house rules include limited screen time, nap time/quiet time is very important, outdoor supervision, and treating eatchother with kindness. The girls also love going out and about to the library, splash pad, park, and the aquarium.

Currently my schedule is Monday mornings from 8:30 to noon, Wednesdays 7:30 -10 am, and Thursdays 7:30 am-2 pm.
My schedule changes every 3 months due to my school being on a 3 month quarterly schedule.

Expectations include making sure our girls get plenty of play time in and help practicing some of my oldests therepy during one of the days if comfortable doing so!

Hi! I work as an occupational therapist at a skilled nursing facility in North Phoenix and typically my mom watches my daughter, Opal, 1-3x per week depending on her availability. I’m usually gone about 8-10 hours (1 hour commute to work each way). My mom helps my dad run his tax business during tax season and therefore will have extremely limited availability from February - April. We are looking for a nanny who will be able to be at my parents house (my mom will also be there as she works from home during tax time) on the days I work, hopefully 2-3x per week. Usually I work Tuesday/Thursday so I can keep that consistent plus add one more day either Monday/Wednesday/Friday and I can be flexible with that. The only responsibilities would be entertaining Opal throughout the day, feeding her 2-3 meals + snacks if needed, and putting Opal down for her afternoon nap with a bottle. She at times has difficulty with her breathing due to enlarged adenoids (hopefully getting removed soon) so we usually use the nebulizer on her after she falls asleep for her nap as well.
