A little bit about us

Hello! I’m looking for a caring nanny for my daughter. I would like someone who is available Monday through Friday but I am open to part time or a nanny share with another family. The duties include playing with the child and taking her to the local park, cooking meals for her and an occasional simple lunch for my husband who sometimes works from home, and keeping the house tidy. We are 1 block from the Brown line and 2 blocks from the Red line stations. Our current nanny (who we love dearly) is moving to another city so we are looking for someone to start soon. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide loving, attentive care for our baby

- Plan age-appropriate activities that support his development

- Support naps, feeding and daily routine

- Handle bottles, baby dishes and baby laundry

- Take him on outings and activities outside the home

- Keep his space clean and organized

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Experience caring for infants

- Warm, patient, dependable and attentive

- Strong communication skills and references

- Up to date on vaccinations

- Non-smoker

- Current infant and child CPR/first-aid certification

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

A NOTE ABOUT OUR FAMILY

My husband and I work from home some days, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable caring for a baby in a home where a parent is present.

We also have a very friendly dog Simba, a mini goldendoodle who loves people.
