Nanny Needed – Prattville, AL | Jan. 4–Mid-June [phone number hidden]/hour, depending on experience**

We’re seeking a dependable, energetic nanny for our sweet, well-behaved 4-year-old son. He loves the outdoors, exploring, building, and learning. Our neighborhood playground and community pool are less than a 3-minute walk away!

We’re a screen-free household seeking someone who enjoys outdoor play, reading, creative projects, and preschool-style learning. Early childhood education experience is preferred, but enthusiastic, experienced caregivers are welcome. We value kindness, respect, good manners, and clear boundaries. We provide a budget for educational supplies and activities.

**Schedule & Pay:**

- 30 guaranteed paid hours/week; typically 30–35 hours needed.
- Mondays typically 7:45 a.m. - noon.
- Tues–Fri, 7:45 a.m.–3/4 p.m.
I am military and solo parenting, so hours can vary slightly with my work schedule.
- Preplanned family travel periods discussed during hiring.
- Mileage reimbursed for speech therapy and approved outings.

**Responsibilities:**

- Plan engaging learning activities and outdoor play.
- Prepare simple meals/snacks with ingredients we provide.
- Drive our son to speech therapy twice weekly (8 minutes away) and to approved outings.
- Clean up child-related activities and meals.

**Requirements:**

- Preschool-age childcare experience and strong references.
- Pediatric CPR/first-aid certification (or obtain before starting).
- Valid license, clean driving record, and safe, insured vehicle.
- Comfortable following food-allergy precautions: eggs, dairy/milk, peanuts. We provide safe ingredients, approved snacks, emergency medications, and guidance.

Optional nanny share with a neighbor may be possible, but is not guaranteed; compensation would be adjusted.
