A little bit about us

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Family Assistant and Nanny to join our family. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized home environment, prepping meals for our children, and providing nurturing care to our toddlers. This role requires flexibility, a love for children, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team with other caregivers and parents.

Hours would be minimally 6am - 2pm Saturday and/or Sunday, with the potential for additional hours on the weekend or weekdays to supplement our full-time nannies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and common areas. This includes tasks such as dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and general tidying.
Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious and kid-friendly meals and snacks for our children. Ensure that meals are prepared according to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
Childcare: Provide attentive and loving care for 1-4 toddlers. Responsibilities include playing, reading, and engaging in age-appropriate activities. When all four toddlers are present, you will usually work alongside another caregiver (nanny or parent) to ensure the safety and well-being of the children.
Reading and Activities: Read to the children and engage them in educational and fun activities that promote their development and growth.
Additional Tasks: Assist with other childcare-related tasks and household duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in childcare or as a nanny is preferred.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with other caregivers and parents.
Patience, reliability, and a genuine love for working with children.
Basic cooking skills and knowledge of nutrition.
Flexibility to work additional hours as needed, including occasional weekdays.
