A little bit about us

We’re looking for a reliable, nurturing full-time nanny to join our family starting at the end of August! This position will primarily be focused on our infant (who will be 4 months old at the time), with light responsibilities for our older children (ages 9 and 11) one week per month. We’re located near Center Street and I-80, making for an easy commute across the Omaha area.

📅 Schedule:

Three weeks per month (Infant care):
• Monday: 8 AM – 4 PM
• Tuesday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5 PM
• Friday: 8 AM – 2 PM

One week per month (Before/After School Help for Older Kids):
• Morning: 6 AM – 8 AM (help getting to school or bus stop)
• Afternoon: 4 PM – 6 PM (school pickup or bus stop)

We’re looking for someone who is available year-round and committed to staying with our family for at least 2 years.

👶 About Our Family:
We’re a fun, active family of five, plus one lovable golden retriever. Our older two kids are in school full time and love reading, art, and football. The main focus of your care will be our infant, and we’re looking for someone who is experienced, warm, and confident with babies.

We value a calm, encouraging environment and hope to find someone who enjoys engaging with children, respects routines, and takes initiative.

🏡 What to Expect:
• Infant care (feeding, changing, play, nap schedule)
• Light housework related to the baby (bottles, dishes, baby laundry)
• Afternoon snack prep for older kids during the school care week
• A friendly golden retriever who doesn’t require special care but will be part of your day
• A midday lunch break — I work from home 2 days a week and can help provide this

💡 Additional Notes:
• Must have reliable transportation to and from our home
• Open to a nanny share or the nanny bringing their own child, if it’s the right fit for everyone
• We are looking for someone who is dependable, communicates well, and genuinely enjoys working with children

If this sounds like a good fit for you, we’d love to connect!

Part-Time Nanny Job: The knight Family with 1 Child

My son isaiha is a crazy silly kid but he is always on the go. I normally wake up at 6 am to get ready for the day, but other days i wake up at 7 am because it only take him 5 minutes to get dresses and rhen another additional 6 minutes to brush his teeth wash his face and brush his hair. Then he had breakfast here if he wants to, days at work I will be there 7 days a week from 11 to 7. I will try and work around your schedule as well if needed. As far as responsibilities for my son, he likes to climb so make sure he dosent climb on anything, to have a snake ready and waiting for him I make dinner around 5:45 or 6:00, I put on his favorite shows, for school he gose at 7:54 or sometimes later, it will be marked on the calendar or we can talk about the school website. When he gets home is usually a little after 4:10 sometimes sooner, but not all the time the bus comes and picks him up and drops him off, so if needed we can make it to where he is picked up here at my house and dropped off at yours if that is easier. There is a cat that comes and goes that isn't mine but I feed her so I let her in sometimes and give her some canned chicken I have.
