Part-Time Nanny Job: The Volpe Family with 2 Children
My family will be looking for a nanny to come to our home in West Islip from 8-5 two days a week starting in September. We can work out exactly which days work for us/you as we interview and get closer to September. I have a variable schedule so we are flexible with which days work for you during the week. Some weeks there may be availability for an extra day to work, but is by no means required. Just if you wanted to make more money every once in a while.
We have 2 boys, who at the time will be 1 and (almost) 3 years old. The 3 year old will be at school from 9-12 each day so you will be with only the baby for a bit. We also have a black lab, so you have to be comfortable with dogs (there is no expectation to care for her/walk her, just know she will be around begging for food) My husband works from home so he will be home in his office if there are any emergencies or issues.
We are looking for someone who can physically keep up with 2 little boys. My 3 year old is extremely well behaved, he just loves running/jumping/sports and wants someone who will play with him. I am assuming when my baby is walking, he will be similarly energetic as his brother.
We run a relatively tight ship in this house, with scheduled nap, meal, and snack times. This leads to a pretty predictable day for you. We are a very limited screen-time family, so television would be uncommon. If you’re looking for a family with a lot of structure and routine, we are the ones for you

We are looking for a nanny to care for our adorable six month old boy. Days would be Monday-Friday approximately 8:30am - 5:30pm. However, we are looking for flexibility as Mom and Dad both work 3-4 days a week from home and then travel/work in the city 1-2 days a week. On the occasion the travel days are overlapping we would need you to come in a little early (7am) and stay a little later (6:30pm). Light housework would be great as well as walking our very friendly dog. Driver’s license is preferred but car is not required - we live in a great walkable area with lots of shops, restaurants and parks nearby. Thanks for your consideration!
