My husband and I are expecting our first baby in October ‘25, and we’re exploring a nanny share starting around Jan or Feb ‘26, once we’re both back at work. We're based in the Golden Hills area of North Redondo Beach and are hoping to find a likeminded family nearby interested in sharing warm, high-quality care.
About us:
-Two full-time working parents (I am hybrid, my husband is full-time remote)
-We have friendly pets (two dog and two cats), so a pet-friendly share family and caregiver is a must
-Ideally would like to rotate hosting.
-We value a nurturing environment focused on connection and development
-We strive to avoid being helicopter parents
-We’re fully open to a nanny who speaks additional languages—this is a lovely bonus, but not required
What we're looking for:
-A family with a baby close in age (±6 months ideally)
-We’re happy to join a share that includes an older sibling
-Shared values around responsive caregiving and a collaborative communication style
-Looking for full-time care (e.g., 8:30am–6:00pm M–F), but flexible on details
-A family with similar, free-range philosophy to child-rearing.

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Job: The Dhir Family with 2 Children
We are a warm and loving family looking for a child caregiver, additional help with the our 2 boys. Responsibilities include looking after 2 boys ages 7 and 9. We are looking for a child caregiver with a flexible schedule willing to work 5. 5/6 days a week and about 50/ 55 hours a week. Ideally, the candidate will enjoy having the days (while kids are at school) to themselves to study for school/ work on personal goals but be flexible to help when and if kids are home for distance learning. Duties would include, getting kids ready for school, breakfast, preparing lunch, driving & picking up from school, drive to activities, help and check homework, prepare dinner and get them ready for bed.
