The Schueppert Family - Hiring in Minneapolis

Babysitter Job: The Adam Family with 1 Child

Hi! We’re a family in Minneapolis looking for a warm, reliable and experienced caregiver for our daughter, Naomi, beginning in early October. She will be 4 months old at the time.

I primarily work from home, and we’re looking for someone who can become a familiar, trusted caregiver for Naomi while providing childcare support around my work schedule.

We’re hoping to find someone with some weekday daytime flexibility. Our needs may vary somewhat from week to week depending on my meeting schedule. Some days we may need a shorter block of care, while busier days may require a longer stretch. We would communicate and arrange the schedule in advance.

During scheduled hours, you would be primarily responsible for Naomi while I work. Care would include feeding, diaper changes, naps, soothing, tummy/floor time, walks and age-appropriate play and developmental activities.

We’re also very open to a nanny-share arrangement with another family if we find the right fit. We love the idea of Naomi having another little one to interact with while still receiving care in a small, more personalized setting. We’d be happy to discuss a share with a nanny who is already working with another family or potentially connect with another family together.

We’d especially love to find someone who has experience with young infants, is attentive and affectionate, understands infant safety and is comfortable working in a home where a parent may sometimes be working remotely.

We’re open to someone looking for a regular part-time nanny position or a consistent babysitting arrangement alongside school or another part-time commitment. What matters most to us is finding someone we trust who genuinely enjoys caring for babies and would like to build a relationship with our family.

If this sounds like something that could work well with your schedule, I’d love to hear about your experience with young infants and your weekday availability!

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Taher Family with 1 Child

We are looking for part time help with our 6 year old - primarily after school from approx 3-6 daily. This would include receiving him from the bus, occasional pick up for activities, snack, play. If time or experience allows, we can add more hours for light housekeeping. We also may need help on half days and days off from school that are not holidays (ex. MEA). If all goes well, we will need extra help over the summer.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Bennett Family with 1 Child

I am looking for a nanny for my 11 month old son! He's an active, curious and independent baby with a cheerful disposition.

Schedule: 7:45am-5pm Tuesday through Thursday (required) with occasional Friday half-days (requested, but not required) (~28 hrs/week). Preferred start at the beginning of October.
Location: Kingfield (SW Minneapolis), in our home
Pay: up to 23/hr, negotiable with experience
Sick days: 4 paid per year
Other details: Our son has a medical condition, so comfort with administering medicine is needed, and we may request that you occasionally do his nebulizer treatment. He eats a combination of table foods, purees, and milk. He is on a regular 2 nap per day schedule; one nap is reliably 60-90 minutes, so you'll hopefully get a daily break! No driving is currently needed in this role.
A good fit: An active nanny who likes walks, going to the park, reading, art, and music. We have a strong preference for someone who lives nearby; I will not accept applicants who would have a 30+ minute commute.
Our family aims for low screen time, so creativity and problem solving are extra helpful. :)
Nonsmoking and CPR certified a must.
Light, baby-related housework would be expected occasionally (basic toy tidying, prepping/washing bottles, cleaning high chair, leaving things as they were found).

We're looking for someone who can commit to the schedule with minimal exceptions. Both of us work outside the home and have limited flexibility in our hours.

If this interests you, please reach out and we can discuss more details!

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Giannini Family with 1 Child

Looking for help for 1 child on Mondays (roughly 7am-4pm). Mom works from home so will be nearby in case of emergency. Some light child-related housework (tidying play area, cleaning bottles) would be part of the job. We have 2 cats, both are indoor only and friendly. No care required for pets.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Cernuto Family with 2 Children

Looking for after school care on Wednesdays and Thursdays for my two kiddos. My 6 year-old is autistic and I would prefer someone with experience working with neurodivergent children. My older child will need to be picked up from school (we live very close to their school) and my younger child picked up from daycare, which does require driving. Other duties would include: playing with them, getting dinner ready, and keeping them loved and entertained until I finish work for the day. They are both very sweet and loving. Looking for someone who can match their energy and be excited to be with them.
