Full-Time Nanny Job: The Schubiner Family with 1 Child
Hi! We’re looking for a warm, energetic, bilingual nanny starting in September for our 19-month-old, Mon–Thurs, 9–5 (32 hrs/week) for about a year until preschool. We’re first-time parents hoping for a collaborative relationship where we can learn from each other and figure out what’s best for our kiddo.
We’re especially interested in someone familiar with RIE/responsive caregiving, or excited to learn. Spanish immersion is a big priority, though we’re open to other languages! Our toddler is big, fast, and very active. We’d love someone who can coordinate nursing during the day when possible and is comfortable with responsive sleep strategies (no sleep training). We have an anxious poodle mix who barks, so comfort with dogs is important. We value clear, open communication and lots of collaboration. Please reach out with your rate and RIE experience/interest!

Babysitter Job: The Smith Family with 1 Child
Hi! We are looking for a part-time nanny for our eight month old girl, Philomena (aka "Philly")! Philomena is a bubbly, alert and active girl who is eager to stand and walk as soon as she can. She loves music, social time, reading books, and learning to swim.
I am full-time work from home and my husband just graduated from Berkeley and is looking for work, which is why we need a part-time nanny. We are flexible on schedule, but hoping for Tuesday-Thursday roughly 10am-5pm.
Here are more details of what we are looking for (and some of our house rules). If this all looks good to you, we'd love for you to apply!:
- Engage Philomena in active play, including reading, floor time, some outside time, etc.
- I still breastfeed (I don't pump), so must be comfortable managing those transitions with me around naptime.
- Must be a non-smoker. Please no heavy perfumes (light fragrance is fine, I just get migraines easily)
- Must have comfort with food prep and feeding. CPR training a big plus. Philomena does a mix of purees, thicker textures, and some baby-led weaning. We feed her a mix of fish/chicken/beef, lots of meat stock, vegetables, fruits, and plain greek yogurt.
- When baby is down for her nap or if we take her for a walk, we need help with "mother's helper" type tasks, including folding laundry, dishes, and tidying.
- Note, we have a friendly cat.
- Bonus points: if you can help us get her in a more solid napping routine (we don't do cry it out or firm "sleep training"); if you are familiar with "pocket folding" for laundry; if you are musical or have any other talents you'd like to share with baby; if you could also very occasionally babysit evenings to allow us to go on our first "date nights"
Please let me know if you have any questions or if you are interested. We thank you for your time. I will read every application. Thanks so much!
Best,
Paige, Hans, and Philomena

Part-Time Nanny Job: The C Family with 2 Children
Hello! We are a growing family (#2 coming October!) and we are looking to find a part-time nanny who can help us with our household and our 5-year old while we make time for the little one.
Mornings and evenings tend to have the most to do as our kiddo has very full days both in the summer and the school-year, but we can get creative about when those things can get done.
We are looking to fill about 20 hours per week.
Pick-ups, drop-offs, meal preparation, house clean-up and quality time with the 5-year old are all part of the package.
Thanks!
Chris
