Part-Time Nanny Job: The Renker Family with 1 Child
Hello!
I am looking for a part time nanny to help us in evenings and on the weekend. My daughter is 3 years old, and we just had a newborn (4weeks old) and need a bit of extra help. Our baby has a baby nurse so is fully set but need help with our toddler to help plan fun activities.
It will mostly be coordinating play dates with friends, day activities including arts and crafts and evening help would consist of bath and bed time / reading.
We have a black Labrador so would need to be comfortable with dogs!

We are a warm, active family in Montecito looking for a wonderful full-time, live-out nanny to become a long-term part of our family.
We have six children, but four are teenagers and largely self-sufficient, so the position is primarily focused on our 1-year-old and 4-year-old.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves spending time with young children and is happy creating fun, engaging days at home—playing outside, doing crafts and activities, going on walks and outings, and keeping the little ones active and entertained. Responsibilities will also include school pickups, driving to activities, preparing simple meals/snacks for the children, and helping keep their spaces and routines organized.
Both parents work primarily from home and are very hands-on, so we’re looking for someone comfortable working collaboratively with parents who are around frequently. There may occasionally be some help needed with the older children, but the primary responsibility is the two youngest.
Our family travels approximately four times per year, and we would love someone who is comfortable traveling with us and occasionally staying overnight when needed.
The ideal person is warm, playful, energetic, flexible, responsible, and genuinely loves toddlers and preschool-age children. We’re hoping to find someone who wants a long-term position and will become a trusted and valued part of our household.
Ideal candidate:
• Professional nanny/childcare experience
• Strong toddler and preschool experience
• Safe, confident driver with a clean driving record
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified
• Comfortable with family travel and occasional overnights
• Flexible, dependable, proactive, and easygoing

Schedule: Approximately 35–40 hours/week
Compensation: $35–$40/hour, depending on experience, plus guaranteed hours, PTO, and applicable overtime

I am looking for a full-time nanny who can work from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM, to keep up with Jonathan’s boundless energy.
