Live-In Full-Time Nanny Job: The Mercer Family with 3 Children
Hi we are looking for a full-time live-in ROTA nanny for a family in Manhattan Beach CA. 3 children (1, 2 and 4 years old)
2-week on 2-week off schedule
Childcare Duties:
Feeding, bathing, dressing, and overseeing the child’s routine.
Meal preparation for children
Allergen prep and help for our middle child
Supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities.
Organizing playdates, outings, and social activities.
Maintaining the children’s daily schedule includes naps, playtime, and extracurricular activities.
Occasional drop-off and pickup from preschool
Suggesting fun activities, toys, learnings as the kids grow for them or for all of us as a team
Household Duties:
You’ll be expected to help out around the house. This includes:
● Straightening up the house/ picking up after the kids
● Loading/unloading the dishwasher
● Laundry for the kids and parents
● Taking out the trash
● Unpacking deliveries
● Misc. errands to help Mom & Dad
You’ll live with our family in our home while on rotation and move out when you’re off. You’ll have a private bedroom and bathroom while on; the other rota nanny will stay in that room when you’re off. We expect you two to work together on toiletries and clothing to share the clothing space as well as the bathroom space. When traveling with our family, you’ll always be given your own private bedroom and bathroom; you might need to share a room with a child, depending on the housing constraints.

M-TH FROM 4:00pm-9:00pm with occasional weekend and overnight stays. Need to drive for school pick up and activities. Help with dinner/bath and bed time.

Need a nanny to pick up 8 year old son from school at 1pm, take to various activities in South Bay, and bring home for homework and dinner. This is a split custody situation so I only need this every other week. So the schedule is M-F from 1-6pm every other week.
We are looking for someone to pick him up from school, take hime to various lessons and bring him back to his father's apartment for homework and dinner. Meal prep, light cleaning, and homework help would be appreciated as his father is currently doing everything on his own, and he owns a few businesses so he is in need of an extra hand.
Another big note is: his dad is working to enact certain rules in the house around self-management, cleaning up after himself, chores, and he currently gets zero screen time (not as punishment, but as a sort of broad recovery of his nervous system).
This is a sort of "clean up phase" his father is running on him. Prior to his father's split, the boy had no structure or discipline at all, and since his father as built structures into his life, he has seen massive improvements.
So a big part of this is going to be helping the boy catch up in that regard. His dad will make it all super clear as far as norms around the house, but he has laid a lot of groundwork already and it is going really well.
There may also be some occasional interfacing with the other nanny, who operates out of his mother's house. We may also need help scheduling doctor's appointments, class sign ups, and keeping the fridge stocked.
