We are busy tech professionals seeking a part-time Nanny / House Manager to become a trusted partner in managing our household and supporting our sweet 5-year-old boy.
Schedule: 15-20 hours/ week - Late afternoon / early evening
Key Responsibilities:
- School Pick-up and drive to after-school classes.
- Childcare; Help with academic worksheets and play.
- Household Support: school meal prep, kitchen reset, and laundry.

Title: Warm, active nanny for toddler nanny share in Central District (starts January 4)
We're a Central District family looking for a warm, reliable nanny to start January 4th. This is a nanny share position, caring for our son and one other toddler of similar age. We're in the process of lining up the second family now and will introduce you once that's settled.
Our son will be 25 months in January. He's curious and busy, and he does best with a day that has real outdoor time, active play, and simple age-appropriate learning worked in.
About the role:
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Start: January 4th
Length: six-month contract to begin, with real potential to extend
Location: Central District, Seattle.
Hosting: [our home / alternating between homes]
Rate: competitive, reflective of a nine-hour day and two children, with overtime handled properly. Happy to discuss.
What we're looking for:
Someone who genuinely enjoys this age. Warmth, patience, and consistency matter to us as well as some early education experience. Jude is a very curious and loves to use his imagination in play. He's built a strong attachment with him mom, grandma and me. He is good at sharing his feelings. Jude is also an early learner, walking and talking since 9 months. He's very active as well.
My wife and I are looking for afternoon care (1 pm - 4 pmish) a couple days a week for now. Beginning June 30th, for the summer, we need additional care for 6ish hours on Monday and potentially another day of the week. Additional hours may be available, as our work schedules are in flux.
My wife works from home and will be on location during all hours, or potentially me, as I work from home part time as well.
We are looking for someone who wants to engage with Jude when he plays, can be flexible, and will help to positively model and guide his emotions.
