Part-Time Babysitter Needed (Paramus, NJ)
I’m looking for a dependable, caring, and energetic babysitter for my two children (ages 4 and 6) during the weeks they are with me. My custody schedule alternates weekly, so care is only needed every other week, from Wednesday through the following Wednesday.
Schedule:
* School pickup in Paramus, NJ
* Care needed until 5:30 PM, when I get off work
* Additional hours during school breaks or holidays may be available if interested
Responsibilities:
* Pick up my children from school in Paramus.
* Provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment after school.
* Prepare light snacks or simple meals.
* Help with homework (mainly for my 6-year-old) when needed.
* Engage the children in age-appropriate activities and outdoor play when possible.
* Ensure they are supervised and cared for until I return home around 5:30 PM.
Requirements:
* Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license.
* Clean driving record.
* Experience caring for young children.
* CPR/First Aid certification is preferred but not required.
* Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy.
* References are appreciated.

I am a single mother recently moved back to NJ from CA to be closer to our family. My son Jack lives with myself and his grandmother. Jack is (4) and is an extremely active, fun, lovable child with an incredible sense of humor! Jack is currently in a pre-school (hybrid/ABA program) designed for children on the spectrum. Thanks to a great program, Jack's language has developed very quickly and he is now stringing words into sentences to express his needs. Jack enjoys all outdoor activities, particularly swimming! He enjoys pretend play, especially when it comes to his dinosaurs, trucks and sea animals. Jack is all boy! and sometimes takes more risks than he should, having little to no fear, so keeping a close eye on him as most little ones is essential. Ideally I would be looking for someone with experience with the pre-school age (3-5 year olds) and special needs a plus, but not necessary. I would like someone who is great at engaging in gross motor activities and fine motor activities.
Other notes:
- Monday thru Friday
-Drivers license required, as Jack has soccer and music classes after school.
-Available to start on/about April 15th
- maintaining Jacks room and organizing his clothes etc../meal prep.
- Open to travel.
