Types of Nanny Jobs for Twins and Responsibilities

Duties include feeding, naps, play, and outings for more than one child at once, often with a shared routine. Some families have newborn multiples and need help with sleep and feeding, while others have toddlers or school-age children. Check the ages of the children, the hours, and whether there will be a second caregiver.

How to Interview for Nanny Jobs for Twins

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is a nanny job interview. Here are some questions you should ask:

• How old are the children, and what are their routines?
• Will there be another caregiver or parent at home?
• Do the children share a schedule for naps and feeding?
• Will I be taking them out alone, and what equipment do you have?
• How will pay work for caring for more than one child?

Beyond asking these questions, families will want you to have your nanny references ready and ask any questions to show initiative. The nanny job interview is an excellent opportunity to get aligned on the nanny job expectations. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
