Meet the kids:
Gracyn is 3 years old and a total social butterfly! She loves being busy, playing, chatting, and being around people. Kolten is 13 months old and very much a mama’s boy. He’s sweet, cuddly, and happiest when he feels comfortable and connected with his people.
Schedule:
Tuesday through Thursday, including overnight care Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
Responsibilities include:
* Caring for both children and following their usual routines
* Preparing simple meals/snacks for the kids
* Dropping Gracyn off at preschool on Tuesday and Thursday and picking her up afterward
* Bedtime and overnight care Tuesday and Wednesday
* Basic tidying related to the kids throughout the day
* Caring for our dogs while on duty, including letting them out, feeding them, and making sure they’re looked after
* Most importantly, keeping the kids safe, happy, and loved while I’m away!
We’re hoping to find someone dependable, patient, and comfortable becoming a familiar part of the kids’ weekly routine. We’d love someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with little ones and is comfortable managing both toddler life and the occasional chaos that comes with it!

What Are Night Nanny Jobs?
Night nanny jobs are overnight positions caring for children while their parents sleep, often for a newborn. These jobs suit nannies who prefer working nights, have newborn care experience, or want a schedule that leaves the daytime free.
Types of Night Nanny Jobs and Responsibilities
Duties include overnight feeds, diaper changes, soothing, and sleep logs, and for older children, overnight supervision. Some jobs are a few nights a week, and others are full-time for the first months of a baby's life. Check the nights, the shift hours, and whether you are expected to stay awake or can sleep when the child does.
How to Interview for Night Nanny Jobs
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is a nanny job interview. Here are some questions you should ask:
- Which nights and hours do you need, and how long will the job last?
- Will I be awake all night, or can I sleep when the baby does?
- Where will I stay, and what is provided?
- How will feeding be handled, breast or bottle?
- How is overnight pay handled, and is there a written agreement?
Beyond asking these questions, families will want you to have your nanny references ready and ask any questions to show initiative. The nanny job interview is an excellent opportunity to get aligned on the nanny job expectations. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
