Looking for occasional work Fri-Sun. I will be available to start full time positions in Oct 2027! I'm looking for a full-time, live-in or live-out position.

I have two associate degrees: one in Early Childhood Education, one in Electrical Engineering. I am from NY and moved to MD in 2025. I am allergic to cats and most dogs. I speak some Spanish and ASL as well.

I'm looking for a family with 1-2 children between the ages of 0-5. I especially love working with young infants and taking children to activities and enrichment groups! I'd love to join a family looking to incorporate Montessori into their family's routine. I also have experience with Elimination Communication and early potty training. I love encouraging creative play, reading books, and exploring the outdoors with children.
I also help organize, clean, and rotate toys/clothes for a price we can negotiate together.

Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certified in Feb 2024. Fully flu/covid vaccinated and last booster was Sept 2025.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked for 2 years in a 3- and 4-year-old preschool classroom (~12 children).
I worked for 6 months as an in-home educator for 3 children ages 6, 5, and 3.
For 1 year I assisted in a Montessori 3-6 year-old classroom (13-17 children per class), while taking classes to learn Montessori pedagogy.
I worked full time with one family and their baby from 5 months old to 24 months (Sept 2022-April 2024). Child was potty trained at 20 months old.
I worked full time with one family and their toddler from 13 months to 25 months. (June 2024-June 2025) Child was potty trained at 21 months old.
I have volunteered numerous times in summer camps, nursery, and as a mothers helper (children ages 7, 4, and twin infants).

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing nature walks, crafts, dance parties, sensory trays, and reading library books. I have practical experience and some formal training in Montessori for 3-6 year olds that I can incorporate into practical life activities and language learning. I love to be out and about with kids, going to parks, library story times, running errands, and going to classes!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Getting to know each child as an individual and exploring the child's interests.
Fostering a child's independence in daily routine and practical skills.
Helping maintain a consistent routine with the family to instill confidence and security in everyone involved.

My experience with special needs children...

I cared for a child with a g-tube for 1 year. Experience using pump, gravity feed, and syringe to administer food/fluids until the g-tube was no longer needed. Encouraged trying new foods and independent eating.
Administering medication by mouth, nebulizer, topical ointments, and inhaler.

I've worked with children on the autism spectrum, verbal and non-verbal, and children with ADHD.
