Coloring, puzzles, playing with toys, going outside and playing hide and go seek or using are imagination and creating something fun. We can bake cookies or watch a movie. I do different things with the children anything to entertain there minds and release their energy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me being a nanny is I want to make the parents comfortable and know that their children are safe in my hands. I take care of children like they are my own. I will love them and respect them and build a bond with the children and the parents. I want to be able to take a weight off the parent’s shoulder and they not have to worry about finding a babysitter.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for some special needs children who had asthma. It’s important to pay attention to children giving them attention and focusing on what they are doing. When I care for special needs children I entertain them and I give them eye contact and we have fun. You have to understand these children needs love and attention just as much as the children who aren’t special needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment is when I went to work and she I arrived the children would be waiting for me to come, they were so excited and happy. We would make breakfast and plan what we are gonna do that day and it was very exciting to put that much joy on children faces. Making them happy we would spend the day having fun and bake treats, watch movies and watch the day go by as we are having fun.
