Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a mentor for kids in 5th grade my senior year of high school. I helped with school work, anything they were struggling with, and played games and other activities to keep them entertained. I also participated in the special olympics my junior and senior year in high school. I helped the kids with activities they were competing in and getting food.
I have babysat for numerous families (kids ages 1-9). I helped them with homework, played games, feed them dinner, bathed them, and did bedtime routines with them. I also will help with light house work and feed/walking pets as well.

I enjoy coloring, playing different games (board games and make believe games), dancing, and goofing around with them. I enjoy going outside with kids to draw with chalk, play on a trampoline, swim, and finding new things throughout the yard.

My favorite moment with one set of kids I watch is when I get to the house, they always excitedly come running towards me yelling my name, wanting to show me anything new since my last visit.

In the fall I will continue the commute to UNA which is an hour and 15 minutes there and back my class schedule is 10:30 am-1:15 pm on M, W and 9:30 am-12:15 pm on T, TH.
