More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have over 6+ years of experience working with children ages 3-weeks to 15 years of age. I have worked with children of all abilities and student taught in a kindergarten classroom. I taught English in a school when I was studying abroad in Spain. I am also certified in developmental disabilities and human services in MA. I have been a camp counselor, and substitute teacher as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Looking for a summer position, I am hoping to find a family that is eager for me to keep the kids busy outside as much as possible! Going on walks, going to museums, going to parks, playing with chalk, bikes and scooters, going to local places, having playdates, creating fun crafts, going to the beach, baking, cooking, EI skills for young children, tummy time, playgrounds, zoo etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think in being a nanny it is crucial to have a love for children and always have them in your best interest. It is so important to keep them safe, keep them smiling and want to be there.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children and adults of all abilities. I have a certificate in developmental disabilities and human services in MA. I have experience working with children in a classroom, home-setting, camp environment as well as older adults in a group home or nursing home setting all with various disabilities. I have worked with individuals with ASD, ADD, ADHD, BD, ID, DD, and many others.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was a nanny this past summer amidst the pandemic for a family. I started with them when their son was 3-weeks old and daughter was 21-months old. I think a moment that I will remember forever was when he had his first giggles. We were doing his stretches with his legs (because he has gas) and he starting cracking up. In that moment I was so happy and I just love this family so much.
