A little bit about me

My name is Abbie I’m 17 years old and a senior in high school. I turned 18 in March. I have a really big family so I’ve watched kids under the age of 13. My whole life. I have a younger brother that’s four years younger than me. I’ve watched him overnight and just during the day until late hours I also have a little brother that is six. I pick him up for school and occasionally drop him off. I go to McLean high school and I also work part-time at Gordo‘s Cuban cuisine, but my hours can be flexible. I can do weekends and I can do long periods of time. I’m very excited to have this opportunity and would love to be your next babysitter!!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked in kids club where I watch kids from kindergarten - fithgrade, and I’ve also worked in a pre-k afterschool from prek 3 -prek 4. And I was previously a summer camp counselor kindergarten-8th grade

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy playing outside with kids or going on walks or to the park (if comfortable) it’s a great way to get access energy out. If the outside is unavailable, that’s totally fine. I enjoy watching movies playing with their toys inside with them/homework.

My experience with special needs children...

I do not currently have direct experience working with children with special needs. However, I am very open to learning and would feel comfortable providing care with guidance from parents. I am patient, adaptable, and willing to take the time needed to understand each child’s individual needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite experience with watching kids is them getting to know me and wanting to be with me the whole time because of how much they feel comfortable with me it makes makes my heart happy which is beautiful feeling knowing others feel safe around you.
