Hello! My name is Abby :) i’m the oldest of 3 kids and started babysitting around middle school/ early high school for family and friends! I was with one family for 2 years and it was very rewarding to watch them grow! I like to have fun, taking them to the park, a little ice cream run, or just being creative and playing together! The most important part about being a nanny...

I have always loved kids, and i think it’s important to just care for kids with love, patience, and understanding. In the past i’ve implemented taking deep breathes together if they’re ever feeling frustrated. But i think the most important part is just having fun! Childhood is such a sweet time and i try and create the best experience with any child im with.

My experience with special needs children...

My younger cousin had a TBI, and is now nonverbal and in a wheelchair. I spend a lot of time with them and understand the type of care they need.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It was a bittersweet moment but the family i nannied for in the past lived in a cult a sac and i became the babysitter for the whole neighborhood basically. On my last day they threw me a going away ice cream party and all the kids wrote me the sweetest cards and gave me a few ‘presents’ (one was their favorite sparkly pen, etc just sweet little things) and it was so so sweet to see how much they were all going to miss me and how much i’d miss them! Just a very surreal moment of mutual appreciation for their sweet kids! :)
