More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been babysitting the same family for the past 5 years, growing up along side their two boys. I also spent my mornings last spring volunteering at the Early Learners Building in Boyne City, working with 3 years olds!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy taking the kids to the park and watching/playing with them on the playgrounds. I also enjoy going on walks, taking them swimming, and even just playing in the yard. Inside, I enjoy coloring with them, playing with legos, and even just going along with pretend play.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny in my opinion is having a great relationship with the children as well as the parents. Being able to have trust, respect, and support for all parties is very important when it comes to allowing someone to watch and keep children safe.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a lot of experience with special needs due to my brother having severe autism. I’ve helped my mother care for him my whole life and I have lots of patience for children like him. Whether they are just mute, have ADHD, or have extreme autism, I understand everyone has their differences and I am very willing to learn how to support them!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Although I don’t have legitimate nannying experience, my favorite moment from my other family was both of the boys making me hand made cards for my graduation party and coming and giving me hugs. It melted my heart!
