A little bit about me

My name is Abigail Siddall. I am a recent graduate and 22-year-old student-athlete.

Growing up, my mom worked as the Director of Operations at a non-profit for inner-city families in Detroit. I got to be a volunteer involved with the program's events, which allowed me to interact and help entertain and take care of young kids.

At the age of 14, I began babysitting for families around our neighborhood. I did so until college, where I moved to Savannah and worked as a part-time nanny for a private family for all 4 years of my undergraduate. I worked for 1 child who was 11-14, but cognitively functioned at 4-7 years old. With an emphasis on schedule and consistency, I prepared meals, administered medicine, supervised play, assisted with reading skills, and created walks / activities while adapting to stimulation tolerance. I babysat for 3 families, totaling 5 children, during my time as a graduate student in Washington this past year.
