One of my favorite moments was when I was a live-in nanny; I always put the 2 year old boy to bed, read him bedtime stories and sang lullabies to him but one night after I had turned out the light and sang to him, he reached over the bars of his crib and quietly asked if he could hug me. I think that was the first time he saw me as someone who would be around for a while and it touched my heart.
