Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
At 15 I became a summer camp counselor for a day camp at my local YMCA. I worked primarily with children ages 4-5 for three years. I also began to babysit for family friends around this time. During college I worked for a summer taking care of a baby three days a week. Most recently I spent 5 months living with my aunt who was going through chemo and taking care of her children who were 1 and 3 years old.

I enjoy going to the park and helping children explore nature. I also love reading to them and doing crafts and projects that let them be creative and use their imagination.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments with the last family I was with was teaching the little girl ballet steps. She would ask for a ballet lesson almost every day and we would practice our routines and pretend to be a fairy while also challenging her balance and coordination. It was so fun to watch her grow in that way and even though I have left she continues to practice her ballet.
