I think the most important part of being a nanny is creating positive energy in the house and take some stress off of the family. Not by trying to be the mother of the child, but by doing fun stuff with the kids, cleaning up, and cooking. My motto is “a happy child means a happy family”.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with autism, my youngest brother has slight autism. I worked with kids with down syndrome Teaching them how to ride horses. And I have experience with deaf/hard of hearing children, I am hard of hearing. I speak clear English and I know sign language.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I recently took care of an 8 month old little girl. My favorite nanny moment was helping teach her to roll over, crawl, sit up on her own, and standing!
