My name is Adaline,
I hold my associates degree in Early Childhood Education and have 11 years of experience in an array of settings, in homes as a nanny, infant/toddler classrooms, preschool, and at an English Language Center in Morocco. My philosophy aligns with Magda Gerber's approach respectful infant educaring, Reggio Amelia inspired play activities, and Waldorf. I love engaging in play along side children and setting up activities that provide them with open-ended play. I am very creative and go above and beyond with my work with children. I would love to join a family who will welcome my 3-year-old son to join me. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at Shasta Lab Preschool while I obtained my degree. I have a couple experiences volunteering at schools abroad. I spent one month in Malaysia, two weeks in Brazil, and I was an Au pair in Spain. I also worked at Berkeleys Early Childhood Centers in the infant, toddler, and preschool classes.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing open ended - loose parts activities. I love setting up sensory play experiences, and art projects. I especially love giving children time to just play out in nature.

The most important thing about being a nanny is having a parents feel confident in my ability to care for and protect their child. Also, for the child to feel secure and carefree to just be themselves.
