I babysat two boys ages 6 and 9 in Canton MA for about a year until I moved to Providence. My grandfather also runs a camp in Canton MA that I attended and watched age groups from ages 5 to 12.
I am the oldest of four and have always cared for my younger siblings and cousins as well.

In my opinion the most important part about being a nanny is being a safe role model while having fun. I love connecting with children on their level and so they can open up and feel welcome!
My experience with special needs children...
My youngest sister is was diagnosed with Encephalitis at the age of four in 2019 due to a seizure, and was left with permanent and brain damage. She is thankfully a fully functioning, happy nine year old now and is very active but is non-verbal, non potty trained and eats through a G-tube. So being the older sister I took a big role on helping out and caring for her when my mom couldn’t
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I brought mini m&m’s, chips ahoy cookies, and ice cream so we could have an ice cream cookie sandwich night.
