II have a lot of experience working with children of all ages, ranging from newborns to pre-teens. I really enjoy working with kids, and my previous position at a preschool and aftercare program was one of my favorite jobs I’ve ever had. I loved getting to build relationships with the children, keep them engaged, and create a fun and positive environment for them.

My experience with special needs children...
I have a lot of experience working with children with special needs. Although my previous preschool was not specifically designed for children with special needs, we welcomed them into our community and provided support whenever needed. I was often one of the first teachers asked to work with children who needed extra support. This included helping them with bathroom routines, spending one-on-one time with them, and making sure they felt comfortable, included, and supported. I really enjoyed being able to build relationships with these children and help them feel safe and welcomed. Additionally, my sister is a licensed professional who works in behavioral care for individuals with special needs, so I have also gained knowledge and insight through her experience.
