More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I volunteered every month at my children's kindergarten class for 2 years. I was a teacher's helper. Also, I volunteered at my daughter's day camp. Many times I volunteered for field trips.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I took children to playgrounds, splash pads, garden centers, walks by the canals & fed the ducks with them. Took them to Granada Park here in Phoenix. At home we did crafts, paintings, read books, put toys away. Took selfies and sent to parents so they would be aware of what we were doing everyday.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is helping children learn new things and helping them explore new adventures and helping them to see the beauty all around them.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked for a while at a Group Home where there were teenagers, several young men.
The most important part about being a nanny...
A 3 year old boy said, "Adele, we're tired of playing so let's go to the living room where we can sit in our rocking chairs, rock and laugh at each other". PS: He had his own rocking chair. Many times he also set on my lap and I read to him. The first word he could read and spell was "Truck".
